- ODBC support for Netezza databases

- You can now see which connection is used by a query simply by hovering the cursor over the ‘Query Builder’ tab
- You can also see the connection(s) associated with each table or view in a heterogeneous query by placing the cursor over the table name in the ‘Diagram’ pane
- Reporting improvements:
- You can now view data output in grid and text formats
- Overall enhancements to improve speed and ease of use
- Improved Automation feature

Native Database Support

Toad for Data Analysts supports the following databases using the native provider:
- SQL Server 2000 with SP3, 2005 with SP2
Note: SQL Server Compact Edition is not supported.
- DB2 UDB for z/OS 8.1 or later
- DB2 UDB for LUW 8.1.5 (or later), 9.0
- MySQL 4.1.22, 5.0.41

ODBC Database Support

Toad for Data Analysts supports almost all databases that you can connect to using an ODBC 3.0 or later driver.
Toad for Data Analysts Quality Assurance has tested the following databases using an ODBC 3.0 or later driver:
- DB2 for i5/OS V5R4 (limited testing)
- Informix Dynamic 10.00 (limited testing)
- Ingres Community Edition 2006 R2 (limited testing)
- Netezza Data Warehouse Appliance 4.5
- Teradata V2R6.1 (limited testing)
